Introducing our 1-head Mist Maker, designed for diverse horticultural applications by diffusing a dry mist that prevents mold and diseases by not wetting the leaves. This mist maker is essential for maintaining humidity in greenhouses, cooling plants during high heat, and promoting the growth of young cuttings, with a flow rate of 80-90 ml per hour.
Operating efficiently at a water depth of 5 to 6 cm, it helps regulate temperature and humidity in greenhouses and indoor gardens. The mist maker functions by vibrating a ceramic cell at a very high frequency, three times the speed of sound, which agitates water molecules into mist particles smaller than 5 microns. This dry mist ensures leaves remain dry, preventing mold and disease development while also absorbing odors.
For optimal use, operate the mist maker in intermittent ON/OFF cycles, ideally 15 minutes on and 15 minutes off. It is recommended to connect it to a timer for precise control. The ceramic cell should be replaced after 300 hours of operation to maintain efficiency.
To ensure proper functioning, use clean tap water, keeping the temperature between 5°C and 40°C. Maintain a water level of 10mm above the top of the water detection probe and use a sufficiently large container to avoid splashing. Avoid abrasive cleaning products and protect the transformer from moisture to extend the life of your mist maker.
