By maintaining a stable humidity level, this device prevents the growth of mold and fungi, which can hinder plant health and development.
The relative humidity (hygrometry) in your grow rooms plays a crucial role in plant growth. Significant fluctuations in temperature and humidity can slow down photosynthesis and overall plant growth. High humidity levels reduce transpiration, leading to nutrient deficiencies and encouraging the proliferation of bacteria, mold, and fungi. Conversely, low humidity levels force plants to close their stomata, halting photosynthesis.
The Cornwall dehumidifier is ideal for spaces between 15 and 20m², with a maximum dehumidification capacity of 12 litres per day. It features a 1.5-litre removable water tank located at the back. The digital control panel offers several functionalities:
- LCD screen for easy monitoring.
- On/off switch with a light indicator.
- Full tank indicator with automatic shutoff when the tank is full.
- 24-hour timer, adjustable in 1-hour increments.
- Adjustable humidity levels ranging from 40% to 80%, with automatic shutoff when the desired level is reached.
- Two-speed ventilation with a maximum airflow of 445m³/h.
Important: Place the dehumidifier at least 30 cm away from any walls on a flat, stable surface. It should not be covered and should not be used if the temperature is below 0°C or above 45°C.
The Cornwall dehumidifier features a white lacquered finish, four casters, and a handle for easy mobility. It is equipped with a 2-meter power cord.
